Izaiah Pasha is a 6'4" Combo Guard from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He spent his first two years at Central Dauphin East High School, but is now enrolled at Philadelphia Catholic League power, Cardinal O’Hara. Pasha currently runs with Team Final Red in the Hoop Group Showcase League playing against some of the best talent on the east coast. He currently holds an offer from Siena College. I've heard about Pasha throughout his sophomore year. From his preseason work, during the season, AAU, you get what I'm saying. I feel as though when you have that many people saying wonderful things about you, you must be doing something right. But I reached out to Pasha and look where it's led to with this article. He's a silky smooth scorer who gets to his spots to knockdown shots while playing with pace and has a certain swagger to him. The young man is going to be special, mark my words. Let's get to know more Izaiah Pasha!
BREAKDOWN:
STRENGTHS
Efficient scorer who can score from all three levels.
Explosive Athlete
Knockdown shooter from three.
Plays strong above the rim.
Sneaky Athleticism
Strong Ball Handler
Strong Size Up Game
Uses a variety of moves to score.
Versatile player with a bright future!
One word to describe Izaiah Pasha: Smooth. Pasha is a silky smooth guard who's efficient with scoring at all three levels. He plays at a great pace where he's able to patiently set you up, but then attacks you if your defense is a tad bit off. Strong size up game as well. I've noticed Pasha's sneaky athleticism throughout games. On top of that, he can also handle the rock and is an immediate spark for any team he plays for. Very special prospect. He's one of those players that you have to see in person to believe it rather than hearing others talk about him.
THINGS TO IMPROVE ON
Getting Stronger
Working on defensive mechanics.
Izaiah Pasha is a very skilled player this early in his career, but there's always a thing or two that he can work on. Getting stronger is a must for Pasha as he's scrawny and that could possibly eat him up at the next level. If he can add some general strength along with doing more core workouts, it will help him tremendously when going through defenders and easing his way into the paint. Also, becoming a little more tougher on the defensive side will benefit Pasha to show that he's a strong two-way player rather than just a smooth scorer. But the sky is the limit for Izaiah Pasha. He is going to be very tough once he puts everything together!
Below is my interview with Izaiah Pasha.
